The Evo X can run a fairly wide wheel and tire setup, but wheel options can be limiting since most wheels won't clear the massive brembo calipers that these cars come equipped with. However, our wheels in 18x9.5 +20 sizing is optimized for these cars and graciously clear the brembo calipers with room to spare.
For those of you wondering, you could fit up to a 18x10.5 +22 wheel, but that would require extensive fender work in order to proper wheel/tire clearance. Thus we find 18x9.5 +20 to be just the perfect setup to fit a stock body Evo X without the need for any fender work.
Our Doss FlowFORM wheels are also so light (20 LBS) that is enhances handling, by reducing the rotating mass, and can also increase acceleration and fuel economy.
